Broken by Zubias Broken by Zubias
I finally had the time to read the newest chapter of "Murky number seven" tonight and after doing that I felt compelled to draw the titular hero again.

Tried to draw him with the style I`we been experimenting on recently and tried to make him look a bit more malnourished and miserable than in my previous drawings. Poor Murk... Dont worry we all love you!

I rather like how this turned out, but his right front leg looks awful.

Well, whatever style you've been experimenting with - it's working! I kinda wish that you would have drawn him happy though.

I kinda wanted to draw him happy but after the last two chapters I found myself compelled to draw him this way. At least theres a little glimmer of hope in the end of the latest chapter ;).

I -absolutely- love this picture of Murky. Good job! It's got a quality to it that makes it hard to look away. The front right leg looks like it's too far inward when compared to the back leg on the same side, and that's probably why you think it looks off. But honestly, the picture looks fantastic even with the leg like that.

You really did a great job portraying how he actually looks like. This is probably the picture I'm going to come back to the next time I'm drawing Murky in a serious manner.

I still haven't read the latest chapter yet! D:

You know I've never really wanted t osay it on most drawings I see that my own personal "minds eye" of Murky does portray him as a lot more downtrodden, messy and almost skeletal. It's a continual fight to have to keep reinforcing his condition in the writing without it becoming repetitive, so it's lovely to see you also visualise that here!

Certainly very brutal and harrowing, it might sound on the surface sadistic to say I love it (ye gods alliteration), but I think you know which way I mean that. :p

Especially like the expression and facial style, that it -utterly- Murky I'm looking at there. Great stuff!

I`m really glad that you like it. :)

I`we always imagined him as really miserable and skinny. I just couldnt portray that properly until recently, when I tried changing my drawing style away from trying to emulate the show (which I`we never been able to do) and doing what feels right for me.

I was a tad worried I made him a bit too "Ghoulish" at first but making him more robust would probably have ruined the effect I was going for.

I have a couple of more ideas about what I want to draw from the story, including a humanized version of Chainlink Shackles (The problem is that I find drawing humans insanely difficult XD).

I think you'd terrify a good portion of the readers with such a thing.

I say go for it. :p
